The Progressive Firefighters Association Charities Inc. (PFA) is a community-based, not-for-profit organization. We, the members of PFAC Inc, consist of Miami-Dade and Broward County Fire Service employees, both active and retired, who have dedicated our lives to community service beyond our regular call of duty. We are very aware of the struggles that some families face just trying to make ends meet. It is therefore, through our membership dues that we can graciously and selflessly donate funds to assist these families annually.

For 40 years the PFAC Inc. has been able to give back to the underserved communities that we help through several functions. As firefighters and first responders, we are viewed favorably as selfless and career-driven role models. It is for this reason that we work diligently and with unselfish resolve to give back to the underserved communities that we serve. The Progressive Firefighters Association Charities is an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit community-based organization.
